Colorful Game Boards

I can't believe it is the 2nd Monday in July!  I'm happy because it is Manic Monday again, (I love seeing everyone else's freebies) and one of my teacher friends and I are visiting our local teacher store this afternoon.  Unfortunately they are going out of business, so many things are going to be 1/2 off.  (Yay for 1/2 off, boo for them closing)

So I have joined the Premium Club at From the Pond.  Last week, she sent all of  the club members game boards.  I love them because they are so colorful.  So this is what I created from them.

Classroom Freebies Manic Monday
So for my freebie, I have 4 game boards.  Two of the game boards have capital letters on them, and 2 of the game boards have lowercase letters on them.  These can be used a couple of different ways.  You can have the students roll a die and move a marker (a teddy bear counter or colored square) around the board.  Then when the student lands on a letter you can have the student say the name of the letter or tell a word that begins or ends with the letter.  (What an easy way to differentiate.)

If you like these game boards, I have made others that have only 3 letters on each game board.  The 3 letters are in both capital and lowercase.  These are great to use with struggling students or for an RTI program.

Leave me a comment if you like the game boards or if you have any ideas to make them better.  Thank you for visiting me today.  I will let you know if I find anything good at the teacher store this afternoon.

Have a great week,
